DO NOT SHOW SALARY

My client is an award winning, Legal 500 ranked, full service law firm which is growing fast. They advise UK and international businesses and individuals, and pride themselves on providing legal advice, long term support and excellent service to their clients. They are looking to recruit a New Build Administrator to assist their Fee Earners and Plot Runners on casework in their fast-paced New Build team, based at their modern office in Farnborough.  The department deals with a large number of transactions each year, so this is a very busy role within a progressive law firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with clients via email and the telephone. This will also include answering calls from clients and transferring to the relevant fee earner and supportive staff where required.
  • Carry out file opening for the Department.
  • Onboard clients in line with internal processes, ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in a timely manner.
  • Conduct anti-money laundering checks.
  • Undertake visual identification verification checks.
  • Perform file closing for the department.
  • Support with the delivery of New Build projects and transactions.
  • Adhere to internal and external compliance requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and perform data entry on internal and external systems.
  • Liaise with external providers such as the Land Registry on matters where required.
  • Identify and suggest areas for improvement such as efficiencies to be made to existing processes.

The ideal candidate must possess at least 5 GCSE’s grades 9 to 4 including Maths and English.  A full driving licence is also essential.  Experience of working in a legal environment is not required, although experience within an office environment will be an advantage.  Data entry skills will be essential as well as good attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure. You will also be comfortable with communicating with clients on a wide range of platforms (video calls, face to face, email and telephone). You will need to demonstrate that you are able to work under pressure, to tight deadlines without compromising on service to our clients.

The successful candidate will be joining an expanding firm and working in a flexible, supportive and encouraging environment. We also offer competitive salaries and a range of employee benefits and investment in role development/training.

Whilst we would love to be able to respond to every application we receive, it isn’t always possible. If you have not heard from us within 7 working days, please assume that your application has not been successful on this occasion
